Longing For You Part 1

An Adventure Time story. (Part 1) Enjoy!

The sky was dark, but clear enough to see her face. Her beautiful eyes staring into mine. Her fingers were locked into mine. Her free arm was wrapped around me. Her hair was very long, which covered most of her face. Her mouth so close, I could make out her whispers.

"I love you." she said softly like a light feather. I began to blush. I never thought this day would come. I closed my eyes and mangaed to let the words slip.

"I love you too." I leaned in to kiss Marceline, only to notice that I had woke up from my dream, and was kissing my pillow. Oh Glob. I sat up quickly to make sure Jake hadn't heard me talking in my sleep or anything. I put on my shoes, packed my bag, and headed down stairs. I slumped down into my chair and watched Jake make breakfast.

"What's for B-fast Jake?" I called over. He looks over his shoulder and waggs his tail.

"Everything Burrito!" he smiled. I laughed. I always hated my laugh, but I sometimes wonder if Marceline thinks it's cute. Jake stared at me, as if he read my thoughts. He was about to say something, when Beemo came into the kitchen and sat down.

"Finn! I have a new game for you to play!" Beemo said all excited-like.

"Mathmaticals! What's it called?" I asked. I always loved it when Beemo made up new games.

"It's called "Finn's Fun Adventure!" You battle evil monsters, and at the end of each level, you save the princess! Wanna give it a go?"

"Of course I do!" I got up from my chair, and made my way to the living room where Beemo set himself on the table where I play video games. The game started out pretty easy. I had to battle dragons, demons, and mutant Dimple Plants. At the end of the level, a huge dragon came out and gaurded the princess' castle. I started to dodge him and shoot at him. Finally, I killed it. But as soon as I walked into the castle, Jake came in the room. It would have been fine if the princess wasn't actually Marceline in computer version.

"Jake!" I screamed as I covered up Beemo, and turned him off. He's gonna pay. Ever since last month, he's been bugging me about Marceline. A flashback hit me like a truck. I'l never forget what Beemo had told me. About what he heard me saying in my sleep.

Beemo had walked into the kitchen for a late night snack and had apparently heard me talking.

"Finn? You okay?" he whispered. But still no responce. He couldn't make out what I was saying, but he knew it was me talking. He walked int my room and found me on the oppostie side of my bed. I was mumbling,

"Oh Marceline...." Beemo couldn't help but laugh. I started to drool and kiss my pillow. Beemo thought he'd seen enough and went to his room, knowing my secret crush.

That was very embarressing moment. Jake had to call my name a few times to get my attention again.

"Finn? Why did you turn off Beemo all of a sudden?" He was confused. I didn't care. On the game, it said Finn loves Marceline, and I couldn't let Jake see that.

"He..uh.. had a glitch in his game, and he told me to turn him off." I gave a phoney smile, but Jake seemed to buy it.

"Come eat your burrito quick! It's Tuesday! We gotta meet up with Marceline for jamming time!" I immediatley had butterflies in my stomach.
